Historically, the industries capacity has been limited due to manpower, plant, equipment and material shortages. Today the sector is set to grow, with the ongoing construction of a number of smaller private works and public sector projects, including the construction of the island’s airport. The Government has a large number of capital projects in the development pipeline providing opportunities for the local construction sector and professional services.
